    Panik boukluk tedavisi olan bir rahatsızlıktır, ilaç tedavilerinde izlediğimiz yol uygun ve doz sürede (uygun  doz ve süreler her ilaca göre değişkenlik göstermektedir ama süre en az 1 ay olmalıdır) kullnılan antidepresana rağmen şikayetlerde değişiklik olmuyorsa ikinci muayene sonucuna göre mevcut ilaç başka ilaçlarla güçlendirilebilir ya da ilaç değişikliğine gidilebilir. İlaç tedavisi ile beraber alcağınız psikoterapi desteği stresle baş etme becerilerinizi arttırarak hastalığın ilerde tekrarlamalarını önleyecektir.
