    Kondom, düzgün kullanıldığında koruma etkisi yüksek bir yöntemdir. Adet kanamasının 1 hafta veya daha uzun süre gecikmesi durumunda gebelik olmasa bile gecikmeye yol açan önemli bir neden vardır. Bu yüzden beta hCG testi yaptırmak yerine muayene olmalısınız. Gebelik varsa muayenede saptanacaktır. Yoksa gecikme nedeni saptanıp tedavi edilecektir.
