    Anlaşılan 50 gram glukoz ile şeker yükleme testi yapılmış. Bu test bir tarama testidir. Bunun sonucu yüksek bulunduğunda kesin tanı için 100 gram şeker yükleme testi yapılır. Gebelik şekeri tanısı konmadan diyet yapılmaz. Zira gerekmediği halde diyet yapmanız da uygun olmaz. Ayrıca şeker yükleme testinin siz veya bebeğiniz üzerinde bir zararı olmaz. Bu konuda söylenen yalan yanlış bilgilere kulak asmamalısınız. Gebelik şekeri tanısı tüm dünyada şeker yükleme testi ile aynı şekilde yapılır.
