    İdrarda gebelik testleri, kalitatif testlerdir. Bu nedenle yanılma oranı çok yüksektir. Bazen idrara karışan vajinal akıntıdaki epitel hücreleri, idrar yolu enfeksiyonundan kaynaklanan artmış lökositler, idrara karışan gebelik hormonu hCG dışındaki diğer hormonlar idrar testinin pozitif çıkmasına neden olabilir.
