    Aslında tam tersini yapmak gerekir. TSH için ilaç verilse, prolaktinin de düzelme şansı olabilir. Tek başına prolaktini çözsen de TSH yüksekliği hem gebeliği zorlaştırır, hem de gebelik olsa bile bebeğin sağlığı için zararlı olabilir. TSH yüksekliği hipotiroidi olarak adlandırılır ve hipotiroidi hem bebekte gelişme geriliğine neden olur, hem de anne adayında prolaktini yükselterek yumurtlama mekanizmasını bozar.
