    Her adet gecikmesi gebelik olmamakla birlikte, gebeliğin asıl belirtisi adet gecikmesidir. Siz de adet gecikmesi yaşadığınıza göre muhakkak muayene olmalısınız. Gebelik olsun veya olmasın, 1 hafta veya daha uzun süreli adet gecikmeleri normal değildir ve değerlendirilmelidir. Gebelik testlerinin negatif olması gebeliğin olmadığının kesin belirtisi değildir. Bulantı olması da gebeliğin olduğunu gösteren belirtiler değildir.
