    Yüz felci tedavisinde halk arasında kortizol olarak bilinen Steroid türevi ilaçlar kullanılır. Prednol ve Deltakortil bu türvden ilaçlardır, her ikiside tedavide kullanılabilir. Tedavide uygun dozda steroıd verilmesi, antiviral bir tedavi eklenmesi önemlidir. Steroid türevi ilaçlar kullanılırken Tansiyon ve Kan şekeri yüksekliği yapabileceğinden tuzsuz-şekersiz diyet yapılmalı, aralıklı tansiyon ve parmak ucundan kan şekeri takibi yapılmalıdır.
