    Gebelikte beslenme araları kısaltılmalı, az ve sık yenmesi tercih edilmelidir. Zira gebelik, su kaçıran bir havuz gibidir. Alınan besinler anne dışında bebek tarafından da harcanır ve çok hızla kandaki besinler azalır. Kritik eşiğin altına indiğinde bebeğin kan şekeri düşecek, bu da bebeğin gelişimine zarar verecektir.
