    Kızlık zarını doğrudan görmeniz pek mümkün değil. Genital bölgeye bir ayna ile bamanız, bu arada her iki taraftaki küçük dudakları yana doğru iyice gerdirerek ayırmanız gerekli. Küçük dudakların gerisinde bulnan kızlık zarı, dudaklar yeterince gerilmez ise katlandığı için net görünmez. Dudaklar gerilince gergin ve ortası delik bir çarşaf gibi ortaya çıkar.
