    Akraba evliliği riskli bir durumdur, hastalıklı çocuk doğma ihtimali normal evliliklere göre yüksektir. Bu riski azaltmak için ailede olduğu bilinen hastalıklar açısından sizlere çeşitli testler yapılabilir. Genetik danışmanlık almanızda fayda var. Büyük üniversite hastanelerinin "Tıbbi Genetik" bölümleri yardımcı olabilir. Bazı durumlarda yardımcı üreme tetkikleri ile hastalıklar engellenebiliyor.
