    Bıldırcın yumurtasında bazı maddeler tavuk yumurtasına göre daha fazladır. Özellikle kolesterol oranı yüksektir. Kolesterol cinsiyet hormonlarının yapı taşı olduğu için çocuklarda bıldırcın yumurtasının erken ergenlik-boy kısalığı yaptığı söylentisi dolaşmaktadır.

    Şahsi kanaatimi sorarsanız boy üzerine zararı olabileceğini düşünmüyorum. Sadece kolesterolü biraz fazladır. Kolesterol problemi olanlar dikkatli tüketmelidir.
