    Pankreas kanseri son derece malign ve prognozu kötü olan bir kanser olmakla birlikte ileri evrelerde sıklığı daha da artan ağrılar, kişinin yaşam kalitesini ve konforunu ciddi şekilde bozmaktadır. Uygulanan transdermal bant ve morfinin uzun süreli alımına bağlı olarak bir süre sonra tolerans gelişmekte ve artık uygulanan doz ve ilaç ağrıyı kesmek için yeterli olmamaktadır. Bu aşamada uygulanacak olan sinir blokajları hastaya zarardan çok, konfor ve ağrı kesici anlamında yarar sağlayacağından yapılması çok daha faydalı olabilir.Tabi işlemi uygulayacak olan doktorunuzla bu konuyu daha ayrıntılı bir şekilde konuşabilirsiniz.
