    İleri tetkiklerle solunum ve dolaşım fonksiyonlarını bozmadığı saptanan ve eşkal belirleyici olmayan minimal pektus ekskavatus, pektus karinatus ve göğüs kafesinde diğer minimal şekil bozuklukluğu olanlar, öğrenciliğe kabul edilir.

    En az segmentektomi seviyesinde doku kaybına neden olmuş kist hidatik operasyonları, parsiyel akciğer rezeksiyonları, lobektomi, açık drenaj bozuklukları (pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum ve benzeri) ile fonksiyon bozukluğu yapmış toraks ameliyatı sekelleri olanlar öğrenciliğe kabul edilmez.

    Öncelikle geçmiş olsun,

    Akciğer fonksiyon kapasiteleri ölçmek  ve muayene sonucuna göre karar vermek daha doğru olacaktır.
