    Kontrastlı Toraks BT ile bir çok akciğer hastalığı anlaşılabilir. Ancak yeni başlayan KOAH ve Astım da tamamen normal olabilir. Burada devreye hastanın şikayetleri, sigara içme durumu, fizik muayene bulguları ve solunum testleri devreye girer. Yani bir bütün olarak değerlendirme gerekir.
