    FSH hormonu, adet kanamasının başlamasından itibaren 3 gün içinde bakılır. Yüksek bulunması, yumurtalık kapasitesinin yetersiz olduğunu gösterir. Ancak çok etkin bir test değildir. Tekrarlanması iyi olur. Yine yüksek bulunursa durumu aydınlatıcı başka testler yapılabilir.
