     Sütten kesmeyi aşamalandırarak gerçekleştirmenizi öneririm. Çocuğunuz hangi zaman dilimlerinde emdiğini belirleyip aşama aşama  emzirmeyi bırakabilirsiniz. Örneğin; sabah emzirmeyi bıraktıktan ve çocuğunuz bu düzene alıştıktan sonra öğlen emzirmeyi kesebilirsiniz ve devamında akşam ve gece emzirmeleri kesilebilir. Tabi ki bunu çocuğunuzun emme düzenini göz önünde bulundurarak kendinize göre uyarlamalısınız. Ayrıca sütten kesme dönemi hem anne hem çocuk için duygusal olarak zorlayıcı bir dönemdir. Bu dönemde çocuğunuzun daha önce hiç yapmadığı davranışlarda bulunması normaldir telaşlanmayın.
