    Adet kanamasının başından diğerinin başına kadar 28 gün sürmesi beklenir. Bu en sık 21, en seyrek 35 günde bir olabilir. Ancak bunun normal olduğunun söylenebilmesi için yumurtlamaların normal olması gerekir. Yumurta gelişimi ve yumurtlamanın normal olduğunu muayeneler ile saptayabilirsiniz. Eğer yumurtlama olmuyorsa, adet kanamanız 28 günde bir bile olsa sorun var demektir.
