    Vajina enfeksiyonu ile idrar yolu enfeksiyonu farklı şeylerdir. İdrar yolu enfeksiyonunda idrar yanması olurken vajina enfeksiyonunda kaşıntı, akıntı veya koku belirtileri olacaktır. Kaşıntı, genellikle mantar enfeksiyonu belirtisidir. Bahsettiğiniz ilaç da mantar öldürücü. Ancak enfeksiyonun mantar olduğuna emin olmadan tedaviye başlamak doğru olmaz. Kesinleştirilmiş tanı le tedavi uygulanırsa bebeğiniz de daha az ilaca maruz kalmış olur. Bu nedenle muayene olmanızda yarar var.
