    İdrar yaparken yanma ve kanlı idrar yapma, idrar yolu enfeksiyonu olabileceğini düşündürür. Tabii ki idrar yollarında taş ve kum olasılığını da ihmal etmemek gerekir. Kesin tanı koymak için idrar tahlili yapılması gerekli. İdrar yanması ve kanlı idrar cinsel temastan kaynaklanmaz ama cinsel temas, idrar yolu enfeksiyonlarını artırır.
