Hiç bir test yapılmamış olsa, sizin yaşınızdaki 759 gebeden bir tanesi Down Sendromlu bebek doğuracaktır. Yapılan ikili tarama testi sonucunda bu risk 1861'de 1 olarak hesaplanmış. Bu oldukça düşük bir risk oranı veriyor. Bu bulgulara göre Down Sendromlu bebek doğurma riskiniz az olup siz de istemezseniz ve doktorunuz ek sorun görmez ise ileri tetkik yaptırmanıza gerek yoktur.
