    Ertesi gün hapları, son derece yüksek miktarda hormon içeren ve bu nedenle sık kullanılmaması gereken ilaçlardır. Özellikle aynı adet döneminde birden fazla defa kullanılması uygun olmayıp şiddetli adet düzensizliklerine neden olabilir. Ancak ertesi gün haplarının kullanılması kan testleri ile saptanamaz.
